Size Guide

Finding the right Liserie size is about more than choosing your usual label. Our pieces are designed with a feminine, considered fit — softly structured through the bodice, waist and hip, with silhouettes that are meant to feel polished without restricting movement.

Because many Liserie styles are made in natural woven fabrics such as linen or linen blends, we recommend checking your body measurements against each product’s size chart before ordering.

How Liserie Fits

Most Liserie pieces fit true to size with a close, tailored feel.

If you are between sizes, prefer a more relaxed fit, or have a fuller bust, waist or hip, we recommend choosing the larger size.

For fitted dresses, jumpsuits and tailored pieces, the most important measurement is the area where the garment is closest to the body — usually the bust, waist or hip.

For more relaxed silhouettes, your usual size should offer the intended fit.

How to Measure

For the most accurate fit, measure over light clothing or underwear and keep the tape measure level around the body.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape comfortably close but not tight.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually above the belly button.

Hip

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Length

For dresses and jumpsuits, check the product description for garment length. If you are taller or petite, this measurement can help you understand where the hemline will fall.

Choosing Your Size

Use the size chart on each product page as your first reference.

If your measurements fall between two sizes, we suggest sizing up for comfort, especially in non-stretch woven styles.

If one part of your body sits in a different size range, choose the size that fits the most structured part of the garment:

  • For fitted bodices, prioritize the bust and waist.
  • For trousers, shorts and skirts, prioritize the waist and hip.
  • For jumpsuits, consider both torso length and hip room.
  • For wrap or adjustable styles, you may have slightly more flexibility between sizes.

Fabric & Fit Notes

Many of our pieces are crafted from linen or linen-blend fabrics. These fabrics are breathable and naturally beautiful, but they do not stretch in the same way as jersey or knit fabrics.

If you prefer extra ease, plan to sit, travel or move throughout the day, or simply like a softer fit, sizing up may be more comfortable.

Some styles are designed to relax slightly with wear, particularly linen pieces, while still maintaining their shape and structure.

If You Are Between Sizes

Choose your usual size if:

  • You prefer the intended tailored silhouette.
  • Your measurements sit comfortably within one size.
  • The style is relaxed, adjustable or designed with extra ease.

Choose the larger size if:

  • You are between sizes.
  • You prefer a less fitted look.
  • You have a fuller bust, waist or hip.
  • The style is structured, lined or made from non-stretch fabric.
  • You are choosing a fitted dress, jumpsuit or tailored bottom.

Fit by Style

Linen Dresses

Our linen dresses are designed to feel polished yet breathable. Fitted styles may sit closer through the bust and waist, so we recommend sizing up if you prefer extra ease.

Jumpsuits

For jumpsuits, consider both your bust and hip measurements, as well as torso comfort. If you are between sizes or taller, the larger size may offer a more comfortable fit.

Tailored Bottoms

For trousers, shorts and skirts, choose the size that best fits your hip measurement. Linen and woven fabrics have limited stretch, so a little extra room can create a more flattering drape.

Adjustable Styles

Wrap, tie-strap and elasticated styles offer more flexibility. If you are between sizes, choose based on how fitted or relaxed you would like the final look to feel.
