From Xi'an, With Intention

Liserie was founded in Xi'an, China in 2021 by Seriène, who spent years searching for clothing that didn't ask her to choose between looking polished and feeling like herself.

She wanted precise tailoring. Honest fabrics. Silhouettes designed for real movement, not just for photographs. When she couldn't find them, she built Liserie to make them.

Fabric First. Always.

Liserie works primarily with cotton, cotton-linen blends, chiffon, and cotton-mix fabrics, all developed and produced in Guangzhou. We select cotton for its balance of breathability and structure — close enough to feel intentional, never stiff. Our cotton-linen pieces are pre-shrunk, so the fit you receive is the fit that stays. Chiffon styles are cut in mid-weight fabric specifically to avoid the sheerness and limpness that cheaper alternatives carry. Every fabric goes through a physical fit confirmation at our Guangzhou atelier before production begins, ensuring the garment behaves exactly as the pattern intends.

Every fabric we carry has been worn, moved in, and tested by a range of body types at our Xi'an studio before it reaches you.

The Logic Behind the One-Shoulder Cut

Our signature asymmetric neckline wasn't designed for visual drama. It was designed to solve a specific fit problem: traditional symmetric necklines create tension across broader or rounder shoulders, while a single-shoulder line redistributes visual weight and allows the garment to move with the body rather than resist it.

Function led. Aesthetics followed.
